Approximately 150 cases of chicken meat were stolen during a break-in at Goodwill Agencies on All Saints Road.

According to information provided, thieves cut into a 40-foot container on the company’s compound. They then removed an entire pallet of chicken meat.

Later, the company said another 48 cases were found a short distance away from the container. However, the remaining cases were not recovered.

As a result, police have launched investigations into the break-in and theft. Officers are continuing their inquiries into the incident.

Meanwhile, Goodwill Agencies has issued a public warning. The company urged members of the public to be cautious when purchasing chicken meat.

In addition, the company advised business owners to exercise care. This warning follows concerns about the handling of the stolen items.

Goodwill Agencies stated that the stolen chicken meat may have been contaminated. The company explained that contamination could have occurred during removal.

Therefore, the warning is intended to protect consumers. It is also aimed at limiting potential risks associated with the stolen products.

At this time, police have not released further details. The investigation remains ongoing.
