An Antiguan-born former prison guard may soon testify before Congress. The case links to the death of Jeffrey Epstein.

According to New York Post, the situation is developing quickly. The report says Tova Noel has been called to appear. She is expected before the House Oversight Committee on March 26.

However, there is pressure to ensure her attendance. Committee Chairman James Comer made that clear. He said she will be subpoenaed if she refuses to attend. In other words, lawmakers want answers.

Meanwhile, Noel worked at the Metropolitan Correctional Facility. She was on duty when Epstein died in August 2019. Authorities ruled that Epstein died by hanging. Therefore, scrutiny around that night remains intense.

In addition, the report highlights her actions before the discovery. It says Noel searched online for information about Epstein. Notably, this happened minutes before his body was found. As a result, investigators raised concerns.
