Antigua & Barbuda Gains Weekly U.S. Cargo Flights

Antigua & Barbuda has expanded its air cargo connections with a new weekly service linking the country directly to Miami. The flights, operated by 7Air Cargo, will run every Wednesday into VC Bird International Airport.
The airline uses Boeing 737-800 freighters and offers a range of services, including full charters, ad-hoc flights, and specialized cargo operations. This marks a significant step in boosting the country’s trade capacity and meeting the growing demand for reliable cargo transport.
With Miami serving as a major logistics hub, the new service is expected to strengthen Antigua & Barbuda’s import and export network. Businesses will benefit from more predictable shipping schedules, which could lower costs and open new opportunities for local products to reach U.S. markets faster.
Officials believe this added cargo capacity will help the nation’s economy become more resilient, especially in times when supply chains face global disruptions. The weekly flights also support long-term growth by ensuring local suppliers and exporters can count on steady, dependable service.
