APUA Provides Update on Pipeline Works Ahead of New Reverse Osmosis Plant

APUA

APUA, the Antigua Public Utilities Authority, advises the public that mainline installation works are ongoing along Barnacle Main Road, Cedar Valley Main Road, and Conference Drive leading into the New Winthorpes area. These upgrades are part of the final stages of the soon-to-be-commissioned 2-million-gallon Reverse Osmosis Plant, aimed at improving the island’s water supply network.

To facilitate the project, temporary road closures and traffic disruptions will occur at intervals throughout the construction period. APUA is working closely to minimize the impact on residents and commuters while ensuring the essential infrastructure work progresses efficiently.

The authority thanks residents and road users for their patience and understanding. These improvements reflect APUA’s commitment to enhancing Antigua’s water distribution system, ensuring reliable and safe water supply for the island’s communities.
