Antigua and Barbuda Nurses Association Appoints Laurellyn Williams as President
The Antigua and Barbuda Nurses Association (ABNA) has appointed a new Executive Committee. This team will lead the Association in strengthening healthcare and supporting nurses.
First, Laurellyn Williams was elected President. She will guide ABNA’s initiatives and represent nurses across the country.
In addition, Kesha Willock is the 1st Vice President. Emelda Peters Smith was chosen as 2nd Vice President.
Meanwhile, Eletha George will serve as Secretary, and Wanda Ferris as Assistant Secretary. Alden Robins is Treasurer, with Petal Adams Nedd as Assistant Treasurer.
Moreover, Oona Cabral-Knight was appointed Public Relations Officer. The Executive Officers include Mcbert Arthur, Jenita Cuffy, Tanasha Roberts, Sonia Farrell Willock, Michelle Sealey, and Nerissa Skepple Thomas.
The Association expressed heartfelt congratulations to the new team. Furthermore, ABNA thanked the outgoing committee for their service and dedication.
According to officials, the new leadership is committed to fostering professional growth. They also plan to enhance collaboration and ensure nurses’ voices are heard in healthcare decisions.
