Antigua and Barbuda have launched a bold new bus advertising campaign in Barbados to spark regional tourism and strengthen cultural ties. The campaign features a full bus wrapped with the vibrant “Be Here” branding, showcasing Carnival, beaches, cuisine, and authentic island culture. Running along Highway 1, one of Barbados’ busiest routes, the bus ensures high visibility for both locals and visitors. Timed to coincide with CARIFESTA, the initiative underscored Antigua and Barbuda’s cultural pride and Caribbean identity, making a dramatic entry at the Grand Market.

The campaign targets Barbadians as an ideal regional market, with easy flight connections and cultural similarities, encouraging short getaways and festival tourism. By spotlighting events such as Sailing Week, Culinary Month, Carnival, and Art Week, the strategy goes beyond beaches to promote a rich blend of culture and authentic experiences. Running from June through November, this creative moving billboard strengthens Antigua and Barbuda’s position in a competitive Caribbean tourism market while reinforcing shared heritage and regional unity.
