ACB Caribbean launches a wave of new Smart ATMs as the bank works to fix months of service problems across its network. The rollout marks a major step in its promise to improve customer access.

To start, the bank activated the first new machines at VillageWalk, Market Street and Thames Street. These locations now offer cash withdrawals and balance checks. However, the ATMs currently accept only ACB Caribbean cards.

Meanwhile, customers continue to express frustration after months of outages and repeated technical breakdowns. Therefore, the bank says this upgrade forms part of a broader plan to stabilize service and rebuild confidence.

In addition, ACB Caribbean restated its earlier commitment to deliver system improvements before the end of November. The new Smart ATMs represent the first visible results of that pledge.

Furthermore, the bank plans to expand the rollout quickly. Three additional Smart ATMs should arrive by 2 December 2025. These machines will be installed in Barbuda, Epicurean and the High Street Financial Centre.

As the project grows, the bank intends to activate more features. Soon, customers should gain access to deposits, transfers and other key functions. The bank says it will introduce these tools gradually during the trial phase.

Moreover, the institution aims to reduce the long lines at branches. Officials believe the Smart ATMs will ease pressure on staff and improve everyday banking.

At the same time, ACB Caribbean wants to provide smooth digital services. The bank continues to update its platforms and strengthen its technical support teams. Leadership says the goal is consistent reliability across every banking channel.

Because of the ongoing issues, many customers remain cautious. Even so, the introduction of the Smart ATMs offers a sign of progress. Each machine brings the bank closer to normal operations.

Finally, ACB Caribbean thanked customers for their patience throughout the disruptions. The bank promised more updates as the rollout expands and new features come online. For now, the Smart ATMs mark the beginning of a full system upgrade designed to restore trust, stability and convenience.
