Antigua is set to welcome its first 3-ply toilet paper factory, with the new facility located on Hamlet Street in Liberta.

The business owner shared that the upcoming venture received support and guidance from Prime Minister Gaston Browne and the Entrepreneurial Development Programme during its development. The owner also expressed appreciation for Minister E.P. Chet Greene for his continued assistance and for helping to establish a structure aimed at allowing the business to operate smoothly and efficiently.

The entrepreneur said the venture would not have been possible without the encouragement and support of family, friends and members of the public. Support through social media, including messages, shares and words of encouragement, was also highlighted as an important part of the journey.

The new factory will manufacture 3-ply toilet paper locally under the brand name CUDDLE SOFT, promoted as “Your Everyday Luxury.”

The factory will be located on Hamlet Street in Liberta, while the official public launch will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in St. John’s near the Market.

The business is being presented as more than a new product for consumers. The entrepreneur described the venture as a step toward local manufacturing, creating opportunities and building a business in Antigua and Barbuda.

The company is encouraging consumers to support local production by buying locally made products.

The launch will introduce the public to the locally produced 3-ply toilet paper and the new business behind it.

The entrepreneur expressed pride in establishing the factory and emphasized its local roots with the message: “Made in Antigua.”

The venture is also promoting its product around three main messages: 3-Ply Quality, Better Value, and Support Local. Buy Local.

With the factory based in Liberta and the public launch taking place in St. John’s, the business is preparing to officially introduce its product to consumers across Antigua and Barbuda.

The October 3 launch will mark the beginning of the company’s public presence as it moves forward with local manufacturing and the production of 3-ply toilet paper in Antigua.
