Antigua Distillery Limited has introduced a special rum to commemorate Antigua and Barbuda’s 45th Anniversary of Independence.

The limited-edition release was created as a tribute to the nation’s journey since achieving Independence and reflects the company’s longstanding connection to Antigua and Barbuda’s heritage and culture.

Company officials say the commemorative rum celebrates national pride while recognizing the achievements and progress made over the past 45 years. This year’s blend is the third rum the company has released to mark an independence milestone, following the first in 1981 and another for the 40th anniversary. The launch forms part of broader Independence celebrations taking place across the country.

The special release is expected to appeal to collectors, rum enthusiasts, and those looking to mark the historic occasion with a uniquely Antiguan product.
