PMS and ABCAS are mourning the tragic killing of student Brianna Clarke after Thursday’s double homicide.

Clarke was one of two victims killed in a shooting in Villa that shocked the community.

ABCAS confirmed that Clarke was a Year Two Culinary Arts student at the Muriel O’Mard Campus.

The college said its community is grieving her sudden and tragic death.

“The ABCAS community mourns the sudden and tragic passing of Brianna Clarke,” the statement said.

Additionally, the college extended condolences to her family, loved ones, and all those affected.

ABCAS noted that Clarke joined the institution in 2024 and progressed through her programme.

Staff and students had looked forward to celebrating her completion, the college added.

Meanwhile, PMS also expressed deep sorrow following the deaths of Clarke and Omari Lewis.

“The Principal, staff, and students extend heartfelt condolences to their families and friends,” the school said.

Furthermore, PMS said the loss is deeply felt across its school community.

The school also stated that it stands in solidarity with grieving families and all affected persons.

Clarke and Lewis died after a shooting in Villa on Thursday morning.

Residents believe the incident was a drive-by shooting, although police continue investigations.

Authorities have not yet confirmed full details surrounding the incident.

However, the tragedy has left both school communities in mourning and reflection.

Students, staff, and families continue to process the loss as support grows across the country.

Meanwhile, police are working to determine the circumstances of the killings.

Finally, both institutions continue to offer condolences and stand with those grieving this loss.
