2025 National Census Gains Speed, Calls for Public Help
The 2025 National Census is picking up pace in Antigua and Barbuda. Workers are visiting homes across the islands to collect information about the population. This data will help plan important areas such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
All staff wear official badges, branded vests, and carry government authorization letters along with tablets to record data. The Census Office assures that all information collected is private and will only be used for statistical purposes under the country’s law. Residents can verify a worker’s identity by calling provided official numbers or sending an email.
The census will continue for several more months, with results expected to be released starting in early 2026. The Census Office thanks everyone for their cooperation, reminding that this national exercise can only succeed with public support.
